Okay, I am totally new to this blogging thing, and I've been online now for umm... feels like days... reading the stuff that comes out of other people's minds.

I cannot get over the amazing variety of smart, funny, deep, weird mind-regurg that people put out here! I was thinking I would use this space to get some of my thoughts down in a place that is relatively secure so that I could organize them into some semblance of order--if that's even possible at this point. What I've found here instead of a simple "online diary," is a mad, wondrous, crazy, bizarre (almost pulled out the thesaurus for this one) community of some of the most interesting people!

I am so a junkie now. Too bad there's not an emoticon with a hypodermic needle standing infront of a glowing computer screen. We'll just pretend that there's one at the end of this post, okay?
